✨ Reflecting on 2024: A Year of Growth, Change, and Firsts ✨

As I look back on 2024, I am filled with gratitude for a year that challenged, inspired, and transformed me both personally and professionally.

This year, I made bold decisions, including resigning from two roles to pursue paths that aligned with my values and aspirations. These choices opened doors to new opportunities, including an exciting role with WHO, where I had the privilege of collaborating with diverse stakeholders and making a meaningful impact in public health.

While I declined a fellowship opportunity in Ethiopia, I embraced other significant achievements, such as being accepted into the African Union Volunteer Corps and receiving my Master’s Degree Certificate from ASU, a major academic milestone.

The year also brought opportunities for personal and professional exploration:

• I lived and worked in a new city and state before relocating again, adapting to and thriving in different environments.

• I traveled to Rwanda for a training program, a journey that broadened my perspectives and enriched my experiences.

• I celebrated my younger sister’s Bachelor’s Degree Convocation, a proud family moment that underscored the importance of shared joy.

• My research reached over 1,000 reads, amplifying its visibility and contribution to the field.

2024 was also a year of “firsts.” From trying new experiences to building meaningful friendships, every moment contributed to my growth and resilience.

This year has reinforced that growth often comes from stepping into the unknown, taking risks, and staying open to new possibilities. As I look ahead to 2025, I am inspired to build on these experiences and continue my journey of impact, learning, and connection.
